ECi Fights Hunger
At ECi we make it a priority to give back to the community. Not only the location where our office is based, but also in the communities where we host events. In 2015, we began a focus on fighting hunger across America. Our effort involves several activities throughout the year and donations of both time and funds to multiple food banks.
Our contributions include monetary donations, business software to help streamline operations, and hands-on volunteer opportunities. We engage employees, partners, and customers to help support this worthy cause.
In 2016 we added the Empty Bowls Project ─ an international grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness for the fight to end hunger. At our customer events, we auction off either hand-made or locally-purchased decorative bowls with all proceeds going to food banks in those communities.
During our customer conference, Macola Evolve 2016, our community service project benefited the Atlanta Community Food Bank. To make a donation to that organization, lease donate here.
At Macola Evolve 2017, the proceeds from the auctioned bowls went to the Second Harvest Food Bank in New Orleans. To contribute to that foodbank, please donate here.
Throughout the year, we continue to drive fundraisers and volunteer activities that support our local foodbank, Mid-Ohio Foodbank. You can join our efforts by donating here.
